Founder & CEO
Marcuis "Khulu" Matthews
Composer · Music Producer · Record Label Executive
"We are building an African house of excellence — disciplined, faith-anchored, artist-first."
Marcuis Matthews is a strategic entrepreneur, seasoned music industry professional, and philanthropic leader with over two decades of experience in building, managing, and scaling ventures across diverse sectors. His career reflects a distinctive blend of creative excellence, commercial insight, and an unwavering commitment to community development.
With deep roots in the South African music industry dating back to the 1990s, Marcuis first rose to prominence as a member of the popular Kwaito group Cream, contributing to the cultural wave that helped define a generation of urban South African music.
He has worked alongside In Tyme Inc — the management company behind the late Mandoza — and collaborated on the iconic Yizo Yizo soundtrack, one of the most culturally significant productions in South African television history. His network extends to artists and industry figures such as Kyllex Faku, Godfrey "Guffy" Pilane, and the late Moses Molelekwa.
His journey also includes work with Lance Stehr and the pioneering Ghetto Ruff Records, and with Penny Penny in collaboration with Shandel Music — actively contributing to the evolution of Kwaito, House and Hip-Hop.
