Marcuis "Khulu-Kmg" Matthews is the founder of Khulu-Mani Group — a composer, music producer and record label executive whose career traces back to the pioneering days of Kwaito and House. KHULU-BUSISE – VOLUME 1 Two Sides. A New Beginning. KHULU-BUSISE Volume 1 is the debut project of KMG RECORDS, created, directed and produced by KHULU☆KMG. An instrumental album inspired by the timeless jazz and soul masters of his musical upbringing, KHULU-BUSISE Volume 1 blends melodic Afro Deep House and modern dance music with Afro-fusion, incorporating elements of jazz, R&B, soul, funk, rock and mbaqanga. KHULU represents the creative leader, while BUSISE represents the collective of session musicians and backing vocalists who contribute live instrumentation, harmonies and musical expression. Inspired by the duality of KHULU's Gemini star sign, the album moves between two distinct moods: energetic and dance-driven, alongside cool, soulful and emotional. Featuring live musicians, backing vocals and digital studio production by KHULU☆KMG, Volume 1 establishes the foundation of the KHULU-BUSISE sound and marks the beginning of KMG RECORDS' musical journey onto the international stage.
